This is a poem I found online and modified about 75% of it. I call it...
The Insanity of Sanity
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray my sanity that I keep.
For if some peace I do not find,
I'm pretty sure I'll lose my mind.
I pray I find a little quiet,
far away the daily riot.
May I stand here--not have to think
about their hearts jet black with ink,
or who they're with, or where they're at,
or how all they do is chat and chat.
I pray my thoughts be tried and true.
Without my God, what would I do?
I pray my actions stay in my head
or else they'll all come soon be dead.
I pray my expressions, calm as glass,
shall not betray my thoughts, alas.
Yea, now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray my wits about me keep,
but as I look around I know
I must have lost them long ago!
